The muslim population in japan is mainly from foreigners from islamic countries (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Arabs(mainly egyptians and tunisians) ). There is a minority of Japanese muslims here who most of them become muslims after marrying a muslim.

By the way I checked with other sliced bread brand called "morning harmony" I found out it too contain animal fat but this one is worst it is pork based something called ラード
